Terms of Service

1. The Service

GenGigsAI is a marketplace that connects people who want generative-AI work done ("buyers") with people who produce it ("creators"). We provide the platform; creators are independent and are not employed by GenGigsAI.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Creator content & portfolios

Creators are responsible for the work, samples, and claims they publish, and must have the rights to everything they upload. You retain ownership of content you post, and grant GenGigsAI a licence to display it on the Service.

4. AI output & licensing

Deliverables are produced using third-party AI tools. Buyers and creators are responsible for complying with the terms of those tools and for agreeing on the usage rights (personal, commercial, or exclusive) stated on each listing. GenGigsAI is not the author of, and does not guarantee the rights to, any AI-generated deliverable.

5. Payments

At this stage, the Service connects buyers and creators via a hire request; on-platform escrow and payments are not yet enabled. Any arrangement, payment, or contract entered into between a buyer and a creator is solely between those parties.

6. Acceptable use

• No illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content or activity.
• No impersonation, fraud, or misrepresentation of capabilities.
• No attempts to disrupt, scrape at scale, or compromise the Service.

7. Demo content

Some catalog content is clearly labelled demo/seed content used to illustrate the Service during launch and does not represent real available creators or completed transactions.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality, legality, or outcome of any creator's work.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenGigsAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for disputes between buyers and creators.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
